General Project Description
The project focuses on providing annual inspection and testing services for up to twenty-five (25) generators and their associated Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) owned and operated by the City of Tracy. This includes units at the Wastewater Treatment Plant, Water Treatment Plant, and various other city locations. The scope involves inspecting generator circuit breakers, control panels, connection panels, cleaning, tightening electrical connections, and inspecting and servicing ATS units. Additionally, the project requires resistive load bank testing of generators at 100% nameplate rating for a minimum of 2 hours, monitoring and logging operating parameters, identifying discrepancies, providing repair quotes (subject to City approval), and maintaining detailed records of all tests. The successful bidder will also serve as an on-call provider for emergency testing services beyond the standard annual schedule.
