General Project Description

The City of Tracy is soliciting bids from qualified contractors for comprehensive maintenance services of backflow prevention devices. The project's purpose is to address device performance issues and deterioration through inspection, testing, repair, and certification of all designated backflow prevention devices at various City-owned facilities. The contractor is responsible for submitting all test results and related documentation to SwiftComply to ensure compliance with applicable safety regulations and state requirements. Services include all labor, materials, equipment, taxes, fees, and permits for inspection and testing. Minor repairs should be performed on-site during testing, while major repairs require City approval and are charged separately on a time and materials basis.
