General Project Description
The Truckee Donner Public Utility District is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide geotechnical testing services as quality control for several capital improvement projects during Summer 2026. This includes compaction testing for pipeline installations (District Pipeline Replacement, Hirschdale Pipeline, Pipeline Rehabilitation at various locations in Truckee), trench backfill, AC pavement, site piping, underground conduit, and cast-in-place concrete testing for the Martiswoods Hydropneumatic Pump Station. The scope involves field testing, developing moisture density curves, conducting field density tests using nuclear gauges or sand-cone methods, testing hot-mix asphalt for pavement restoration, testing cast-in-place concrete at 7 and 28 days, and detailed reporting.
