General Project Description

This project involves the extension of three City of Tulare domestic drinking water wells: Well #39, #45, and #47. The work includes furnishing and installing specified lengths of column pipe, tube, and shaft for each well. Well #39 (Del Lago) will be extended by 40 feet using 8-inch column pipe and 2.5-inch x 1.5-inch tube and shaft. Well #45 (I St.) and Well #47 (Willow Glen) will each be extended by 60 feet using NSF 61 epoxy coated 10-inch column pipe and 2.5-inch x 1.5-inch NSF-61 epoxy coated tube and shaft. Contractors are required to field verify actual column, tube, and shaft diameters before material procurement. The project also includes mobilization and demobilization for each well extension.

Specifications: 10-inch column pipe .279, 2.5-inch x 1.5-inch NSF-61 epoxy coated tube, and shaft, 10” diameter column pipe, 2 ½” diameter tube, and 1 ½” diameter shaft and related bearings. Column pipe sections shall be sanitized.
