General Project Description

The Twin Rivers Unified School District is soliciting proposals for cabling infrastructure at three school sites (Babcock Elementary, Rio Tierra Jr. High, Foothill High). The project requires the purchase, installation, and operationalization of new network cabinets and a comprehensive telecommunications cabling system. The scope includes selective demolition and removal of existing Category 5e data cabling, multimode fiber cabling, non-standard patch panels, and network cabinets. New installations will primarily involve Category 6A UTP data and single-mode fiber cabling, along with associated jacks, patch panels, pathways, conduits, and enclosures. Contractors will also install District-provided switches and wireless access points. All work must meet specified performance and quality standards to deliver a fully functional CAT6A-based telecommunications system.
