General Project Description

The Twin Rivers Unified School District is soliciting proposals from qualified responders for a multi-year contract for Erate-eligible Data Transport Services. The project involves the installation and ongoing provision of point-to-point Lit Fiber Optic (or point-to-multi-point) Lit Fiber Optic Ethernet Transport Service to various district schools and non-instructional facilities. All associated equipment will be owned and maintained by the awarded service provider. Special construction costs, if any, must be separately identified. The contract will include options for bandwidth upgrades and downgrades, with a choice of a five-year (60 month) or three-year (36 month) term, each with options for two annual extensions.
