General Project Description

This project involves the Twin Rivers Unified School District's Garden Valley ES Dryrot and Painting Project. The scope includes painting all exterior surfaces and performing miscellaneous dry-rot and termite repairs. The base bid specifically covers the replacement of 4,000 square feet of siding due to dry-rot damage. An allowance of $25,000 is provided for any additional unforeseen dry-rot. The work involves comprehensive surface preparation, including scraping loose paint, patching, and caulking, followed by the application of multi-coat Sherwin-Williams paint systems to various substrates such as CMU block, stucco, exterior wood, body piping/utility boxes, cement composition siding/panels, flashing/gutters/downspouts, bottom window panels, and metal doors/beams/handrails. All work is to be performed during normal business hours.
