General Project Description

This project involves the replacement of hardcourt surfaces at Garden Valley ES, including required civil site improvements, construction of concrete walkways, installation of an apparatus play structure, and the erection of new chain link fencing along the north property of the school. The scope also encompasses extensive site work such as erosion control measures (straw wattles), site demolition (clearing areas, removing demolished materials, fixture removal), earthwork (grading, excavation, cutting, fill placement and compaction, slope construction, finish grading), trenching and backfilling for utilities, soil stabilization (lime treatment), asphalt concrete paving (base course, surface course, seal coating, pavement markings, concrete bumpers), site concrete work (paving, ramps, sidewalks, drain/sewer structures, reinforcing, joints, curing), site utilities (domestic water, fire protection, sewer piping, valves, connections), and site drainage systems (various pipe materials, manholes, inlets).
