Ukiah City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Remediation System Decommissioning, Site Restoration and Environmental Well Abandonment, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-06. Work is to be performed near 1320 Airport Rd, Ukiah, CA 95482, USA in Mendocino County.
General Project Description
The project involves the deconstruction and removal of a soil and groundwater remediation system, comprehensive site restoration activities, and the abandonment of twenty-three (23) monitoring wells and twenty-eight (28) remediation wells within the City of Ukiah. The scope includes site preparation, mobilization, disassembly, removal, and disposal of remediation system equipment, saw cutting of existing paving, removal and disposal of concrete curb and slabs, asphalt concrete repaving, force main connection abandonment, removal and disposal of steel bollards, removal and restoration of monitoring well boxes and junction boxes, backfilling with CDF or aggregate base, and well abandonment for both monitoring and remediation wells, including cement grout backfill. The contractor is also responsible for agency fees, permits, and inspections.
