General Project Description

This project involves the replacement of roofing systems on multiple buildings (A, B, C, D, E, F, G, L, S) at Union Middle School, including covered walkways. The scope includes selective demolition and removal of existing roofing down to the deck, along with associated wood framing and sheathing work (rough and finish carpentry), such as wood fascia replacement and plywood sheathing replacement. New roofing installation will utilize Ketone Ethylene Ester (KEE) membrane roofing and asphalt shingles, along with related underlayments, leak barriers, insulation, roofing cement, flashings, trim, roof accessories (relief vents, roof hatches, heat-and-smoke vents), and walkway materials. The project also requires general plumbing and mechanical requirements, including seismic restraints, identification of piping and equipment, and electrical installations for mechanical/plumbing systems.
