General Project Description
The Union Sanitary District is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide comprehensive Landscape Maintenance Services at its main plant site located at 5072 Benson Road, Union City, CA. The contract spans a two-year period (June 1, 2026 – June 30, 2028) with three (3) one-year options. The scope of work requires the contractor to furnish all supervisors, labor, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and services necessary to maintain all landscape areas, irrigation and drainage systems, and other related work in a superior condition. Key tasks include tree pruning (for trees 15ft and under), fertilizing programs based on prescription, ground cover and shrub maintenance, weed control utilizing an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) strategy, routine irrigation system maintenance (including discharge site of electric remote valves, cleaning and adjusting sprinkler heads, and expeditious repairs to broken pipes, fittings, risers, and heads), leaf, litter, and trimming removal, solid waste disposal, and repairing any site damage caused by vehicles or equipment. All work must conform to Cal-OSHA Safety Orders and other applicable federal, state, county, and local laws.
