General Project Description

This project involves the installation of the Mark di Suvero Sculpture Mamma Mobius on Crescent Lawn. The scope includes site preparation, fabrication and installation of four steel plinth assemblies (base plate, wide flange section, cap plate) and a raised steel header, furnishing and installing four reinforced concrete footings for the sculpture, installing a raised and compacted Class II aggregate pad, fastening plinth assemblies to concrete footings, coordinating with the sculpture moving company for placement, field fillet welding of steel sculpture components, and coordinating the work sequence with inspectors.
