General Project Description

This project involves barrier removal and accessibility upgrades for a classroom renovation, spread over two phases. The work includes constructing a new sloped concrete floor for the front half of the room, creating new distributed accessible seating areas, and an accessible stage. Additional scope encompasses seating replacement for the front half of the room, targeted room finishes upgrades, adjustments to the mechanical and electrical systems, installation of lighting spotlights, audiovisual technology integration, and teaching wall improvement. The general contractor is responsible for coordinating the delivery and installation of owner-furnished and owner-installed fixed seating, providing a clean job site, clear path to the work areas, and lay-down space. The first phase includes a premobilization coordination and submittals phase, followed by a second phase of mobilization and site construction.
