General Project Description

This project involves the renovation of approximately 28,000 SF of the interior of the SESP building, specifically focusing on phases F, G, H, and I. The work must be completed before the occupancy of the upcoming Replacement Hospital Tower (RHT) project. The scope includes a 1st-floor Emergency Department remodel to build out treatment rooms, nurse stations, dictation, consult rooms, and storage (Phase F), as well as providing access to the Men's Surgery Support Locker Room. Phase G involves reconfiguring existing Pediatric ED rooms, sub-waiting areas, storage, soiled utility, and housekeeping, plus adding a patient toilet room. Phase H includes demolishing on-call sleep rooms in the basement to expand a corridor and add staff toilet rooms, converting non-sterile receiving to staff workroom, converting storage to vendor drop-off, staff workroom, and POM maintenance space, and reconfiguring men's and women's locker and shower rooms by expanding into adjacent office space. Bid Package #SR-01 specifically covers 21-00 Fire Protection.
