General Project Description
The City of San Buenaventura is seeking professional architectural services for the preliminary design (30% level) of permanent structures at the Olivas Links Golf Course property. The project aims to identify optimal site locations and integrate design elements for flood plain mitigations. The scope includes designing a general use facility for golf course operations, retail, food and beverage, and private meeting space; a secure golf cart storage, maintenance, and charging facility for 70 carts; and a secure maintenance and storage facility for material and equipment. The prime consultant on the contract must be an Architect. Key project tasks involve project management, data collection (existing materials, aerial surveys, topographic mapping, hydraulic analysis), developing conceptual alternatives, preparing 30% preliminary design plans, generating an Engineer's Cost Estimate for the complete construction project, and conducting public outreach.
