General Project Description
The County of Ventura is soliciting proposals for the removal and installation of county-furnished carpet tiles and rubber cove base at various County-Owned Buildings. The contractor will provide all labor, materials (except carpet tiles), equipment, transportation, supervision, and management required for the services. The scope includes removing and disposing of existing carpeting and rubber cove base, preparing floors, applying adhesive, and installing new county-furnished carpet tiles and rubber cove base. The project also covers small scheduled repair jobs (holes, stained squares) and emergency repair jobs, often performed outside normal working hours with furniture in place.
