General Project Description

This project involves roofing replacement at Phoenix, Penfield, and ACE Schools for the Ventura County Office of Education. The work scope includes the demolition and legal disposal of existing roof systems at each site, replacement of existing insulation and flashing with new materials, and installation of a new KEE single-ply membrane with a 20-year manufacturer warranty. The contractor will also repair/replace any related dry-rot substrate, mechanically attach new insulation and coverboard, replace all related edge metal, gutters, and downspouts, and paint all related flashing, gutters, and downspouts to match existing finishes. A portion of the roofing materials will be supplied by the owner through the OMNIA Partners purchasing cooperative (Contract #R230404). Limited asbestos surveys for the project sites indicated no asbestos-containing materials were detected in the sampled building materials in areas of anticipated disturbance. The project also includes elastomeric wall coatings at Phoenix School.
