General Project Description

This project involves the construction of Sports Field Improvements at Victor Valley College. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, services, and transportation for the construction of Stadium Field Houses & Press Box, including general conditions, temporary facilities, grading & compaction, site utility trenching, concrete and asphalt paving, new parking lot lighting, striping, accessible parking and signage, site pavement modifications, new pitching bullpens, new drinking fountains with bottle fillers, adding AMS modular buildings on concrete foundations, adding a press box on concrete foundation with ADA ramps, new landscaping (planting and irrigation), and new chain link fencing. It also encompasses selective structure demolition; decorative metal perforated panels; signage; washers and dryers; residential appliances; electrical work (basic materials, conduit, wire, switchboards, panelboards, terminal cabinets, emergency lighting central battery/inverter, exterior lighting); communications systems (general requirements, grounding & bonding, pathways, commissioning, backbone cabling, horizontal cabling); and electronic safety and security systems (general requirements, identification, testing & commissioning, electronic access control, video surveillance, electronic intrusion detection, fire detection & alarm); and utilities (site water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, subdrainage). All construction shall conform to the California Code of Regulations (CCR) and relevant building codes.
