General Project Description

The project involves the remodel and tenant improvement of Building 10 at Victor Valley College. The scope of work encompasses furnishing all labor, materials, services, and transportation required for complete construction. Key work items include demolition, wood stud framing, various ceiling systems (suspended and ACT), interior and exterior finishes (stucco, gypsum board, ceramic tile, resilient flooring, carpet, paint), storefront and window systems, doors (special function, aluminum, sliding automatic, and associated hardware and glazing), architectural casework and millwork, weather barriers, sealants and caulking, field engineering (surveying), temporary facilities, and extensive plumbing (piping, fixtures, equipment, hangers, seismic controls, identification) and HVAC systems (duct insulation, equipment insulation, piping insulation, controls, air distribution, power ventilators, small-capacity split-system air conditioners, hangers, seismic controls, identification, testing & balancing) and electrical work (power conductors, grounding, hangers, boxes, lighting controls, transformers, panelboards, wiring devices, enclosed switches, interior lighting, fire alarm).
