General Project Description

The City of Victorville’s Public Works Department is seeking qualified contractors for design and construction services for a zeroscape landscape upgrade within Landscape Maintenance Assessment District 1 (LMAD 1). The project involves replacing existing ornamental turf and vegetation with sustainable, drought-tolerant landscaping to reduce water usage, improve long-term maintenance efficiency, and enhance the overall aesthetic of the public right-of-way along Bear Valley Road. The contractor will furnish all labor, materials, and equipment for the retrofit, including irrigation system modifications, decomposed granite, decorative rock, accent boulders, new trees, shrubs, and landscape curbing, with a goal of water conservation and environmental beautification.
