General Project Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) is issued by the Vista Unified School District under the E-RATE Year 29 program, seeking to procure new, unused wireless access points (Wi-Fi 6, 802.11ax) with associated management licenses, manufacturer support, warranty, and analytics subscriptions. The RFP also includes the procurement of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) units and external battery packs specified for network switches, routers, and wireless access points. Equipment must be suitable for outdoor and indoor (classroom/IDF) environments. The scope is strictly for the supply and drop-shipment of equipment and licenses; no installation, configuration, cabling, mounting, or on-site labor is part of this RFP. Vendors may submit bids for either the UPS component (Section A), the Wireless Access Points component (Section B), or both, but partial bids on individual items within each section will not be accepted. The project's funding is contingent upon E-rate approval.
