West County Wastewater District (WCWD) is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, REPAIR/REFURBISH/REINSTALL FAIRBANKS MORSE 8300 -GPM/18 -INCH END -SUCTION ANGLE -FLOW CENTRIFUGAL WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY RAW SEWAGE INFLUENT PUMP, identified under Solicitation ID: 25-NIIB-014. Work is to be performed near 2377 Garden Tract Rd, Richmond, CA 94801, USA in Contra Costa County.

General Project Description

The project involves the repair, refurbishment, and reinstallation of one (1) Fairbanks Morse Figure 5711, 18-inch vertical centrifugal pump (8,300 GPM, 29-ft TDH, 75 HP, 600 RPM) at the West County Wastewater raw sewage influent pump station. The scope includes pump pickup and transport, disassembly, cleaning, inspection, detailed reporting of required repairs, fabrication and installation of necessary materials, sandblasting and epoxy coating of non-machined surfaces, assembly, quality assurance, re-disassembly for field assembly, return transport, on-site assembly and reinstallation approximately 30 feet below grade (including motor, piping, and electrical connections), operational testing, and correction of any deficiencies, while adhering to all applicable State and Local codes, obtaining necessary permits, and managing schedules and inspections.
