General Project Description
The West Kern Water District is requesting proposals from qualified professional diving firms to provide underwater dive inspection services for its potable and raw water storage tanks (Tanks #25, 32, 34 & 35). The project's purpose is to obtain professional inspection, documentation, and condition assessment services to evaluate both the interior and exterior conditions of these tanks as part of a routine inspection program. The Consultant shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision necessary to safely perform interior underwater dive inspections and exterior visual inspections. Services are limited to inspection, documentation, and condition assessment only, with sediment removal or minor repairs explicitly excluded from the base scope, requiring separate authorization and purchase orders if needed.
