General Project Description
This project involves the replacement and testing of an Actiflo Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS) Breaker and Controller, as well as a 12KV vacuum circuit breaker. The City of West Sacramento will provide major equipment, including a Toshiba HVK 1500V / 1200 Amp vacuum circuit breaker, an Eaton ATC-900 ATS controller with upgrade kit, a new power monitor, and a 3-phase 2500amp breaker (Eaton SPB-100M). The contractor is responsible for the removal of existing breakers and controllers, installation of the new city-provided equipment, providing miscellaneous materials, coordinating power shutdowns with the City and PG&E, adjusting trip settings based on arc flash coordination study recommendations, and performing primary injection testing and re-energization. All work includes necessary design, engineering, labor, and materials.
