General Project Description

The City of West Sacramento is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide Engineering and Design Services for the replacement of HVAC systems at the Police Department. The project involves designing a like-for-like replacement of the existing Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) System with controls, cleaning the entire duct system, and implementing a new Building Management System (BMS). The goal is to optimize HVAC operations, integrate modern greener technology, reduce energy usage and operational/maintenance costs, improve air quality and occupant comfort, and minimize the transmission of infectious diseases, all while ensuring compliance with applicable codes.
