General Project Description
The City of West Sacramento is seeking a qualified contractor for the replacement of carpet on the second floor of City Hall. The project entails the removal and disposal of existing flooring, preparation of subfloor areas (scraping, leveling, smoothing), installation of new carpet and coving, and installation of transition strips where new carpet meets existing linoleum tile flooring. The new carpet must match existing quality and thickness, with flush seams. The contractor is responsible for cleaning and vacuuming work areas upon completion and repairing any damage caused to existing walls or structures. Work must be phased to minimize disruption in the active office environment.
