General Project Description

This project involves the renovation of existing boys' and girls' restrooms and the addition of two playground structures at John F. Land School for the Westminster School District. The scope includes selective demolition, concrete work (forming, reinforcement, cast-in-place, finishing), masonry (concrete masonry units), cold-formed metal framing, rough carpentry, sheathing, finish carpentry and millwork, thermal insulation, roof patch and repair, roof accessories, firestopping, joint sealants, hollow metal doors and frames, flush wood doors, access doors and frames, door hardware, gypsum board assemblies, tile, resilient base, luxury vinyl tile flooring, paintings and coatings, plastic signage, toilet compartments, toilet accessories, general plumbing provisions, mechanical (HVAC), electrical (low-voltage conductors/cables, grounding/bonding, raceway/boxes, identification, digital network lighting controls, interior lighting), and fire detection and alarm systems. Exterior improvements include grading, fill, asphalt paving, site concrete, pavement markings, and playground resilient surfacing. The contractor is responsible for coordination, site logistics, waste management, compliance with codes, and ensuring quality work.
