Westminster City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF TWO ON-SITE SODIUM HYPOCHLORITE GENERATION SYSTEMS, identified under Solicitation ID: -. Work is to be performed near 8200 Westminster Blvd., Westminster, CA 92683, USA in Orange County.
General Project Description
This project involves the purchase and delivery of two (2) On-site Sodium Hypochlorite Generation Systems, each capable of producing 100 lbs./day Free Chlorine equivalent at a 0.8% strength. These systems are intended for the City of Westminster's Well 4 and Well 75A disinfection facilities to generate sodium hypochlorite solution for disinfecting well water entering the City's water distribution system. The scope includes furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, and materials, as well as programming the OSHGS package control software, performing start-up testing, and providing training for the owner's personnel. The systems must comply with various industry standards including UL508A, NSF/ANSI/CAN 61 & 372 listing, and ISO 9001:2015 certification for design, manufacture, assembly, installation, service, and repair of electrochlorination systems for water treatment.
