General Project Description
The William S. Hart Union High School District is soliciting proposals from qualified E-Rate Service Providers for Wide Area Network (WAN) and Internet services. The project aims to provide E-Rate Eligible WAN and Internet Services across multiple campuses and the Administrative Center, leveraging existing infrastructure to achieve maximum operating efficiencies and cost savings. The scope includes furnishing all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, tools, vehicles, and transportation necessary for the provision of these telecommunication services. The District's current fiber WAN infrastructure is a hub-and-spoke topology with 10Gb fiber point-to-point links from school sites to the District Office hub. The District requires reliable, scalable connectivity services. The RFP offers options for both Point-to-Point WAN and Ethernet Private LAN (EP-LAN) Mesh WAN services, as well as Primary Internet Services, with various bandwidth options.
