General Project Description

This project involves furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary for the cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining of ninety-five (95) 4-inch sanitary sewer laterals within the City of Woodland. The work includes mobilization, bonding, traffic control, erosion control, and best management practices. Contractors are required to perform pre-CCTV inspection, pipe cleaning, CIPP installation, post-CCTV inspection, and quality control on all sewer laterals. The project adheres to City of Woodland Standard Details and Construction Specifications, Caltrans Standard Specifications, and various ASTM and NASSCO standards.

General Bid Items

  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: MOBILIZATION & BONDING. Specifications: Includes administrative portions of work (construction schedule, safety plan, public notifications, bonds, insurance, permits), establishment of staging area, move-in/move-out of equipment, tools, supplies, personnel, project office (including utility services), and cleanup of staging area. 75% paid with first progress payment, remainder with final progress payment.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: TRAFFIC CONTROL. Specifications: Providing traffic control throughout the course of work to meet public safety and convenience requirements, including preparation of a traffic control plan. Payment will be pro-rated across progress payments based on contract time.
  • Quantity: 1  Unit: LS  Work Item: EROSION BEST MANAGEMENT PRACTICES. Specifications: Work associated with implementation of erosion control and best management practices for Contractor activities, including final removal and cleanup.
  • Quantity: 95  Unit: EA  Work Item: 4-INCH SEWER LATERAL LINING. Specifications: Includes all labor, materials and equipment for pre-CCTV of pipe, cleaning pipe, CIPP installation, post-CCTV of pipe, quality control, and any incidentals.
