General Project Description
The County of Yuba is seeking professional engineering (surveying) services for the Ellis Road Bridge Replacement Project, which is federally and locally funded under the Highway Bridge Program. This is a cost-plus-fixed-fee contract. The scope of work involves research, boundary surveys, office calculations, boundary resolution, property corner monumentation, restoration of lost/obliterated section and/or quarter corners, development of updated base mapping, and establishment of new survey control for construction. The survey aims to resolve four adjacent property boundaries and define the Ellis Road right-of-way for property acquisition plats and legals. The boundary work will be documented in a record of survey map to be filed with the County Recorder. The overall contract duration is three years, but the surveying work is expected to be substantially complete within eight weeks of contract execution.
