General Project Description

The Zone 7 Water Agency is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional services for the study, evaluation, and update of its water transmission system and hydraulic model. The project's goal is to recommend operational and capital improvements to ensure safe, reliable, efficient, and sustainable water services. The scope involves identifying system performance criteria, building and calibrating a hydraulic model using InfoWater Pro 2026, conducting scenario analyses to develop improvement recommendations, and compiling a comprehensive Transmission System Plan Update (TSPU) report. This includes addressing current and future water demands, managing pressure, water quality, and storage requirements, and optimizing for peaking demand patterns across eastern Alameda County.
