General Project Description

Zone 7 Water Agency is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to provide professional on-call structural engineering services in coordination with Zone 7 staff. The project involves a variety of assignments, including structural design and construction services for small-scale in-house projects (e.g., chemical replacement projects, tank and pump anchorage, building repairs, concrete work, steel clearwell recoating/repairs, metal walkway designs, retaining walls). Consultants will also act as an extension of staff to review structural designs prepared by other consultants for large-scale projects and perform inspections of buildings, chemical facilities, and flood control channel pedestrian bridges, providing reports and recommendations. Deliverables include structural calculations, specifications, drawings using AutoCAD and Zone 7 CAD Standards, site observation visits, construction inspection, review of change orders, submittals, and record drawings.
