General Project Description

The project involves the replacement of a pre-filter vessel at the Amherst Treatment Plant. The scope includes furnishing all labor, materials, and equipment for mobilization and demobilization, pressure testing, disinfection, and start-up. Key installations include 30" cartridge filters, 12" CS CML pipe with associated fittings, excavation, backfill, compaction, concrete thrust blocks, concrete floor repair, 8" butterfly valves, 2" ARV, corp stops, and pressure transmitters. The project also covers pipe abandonment, flushing, and disinfection of water mains, and related painting and coating work.
