General Project Description
The project involves various building improvements at the City of La Verne Fire Station No. 1 to upgrade living quarters for gender compliance. The scope includes furnishing and installing temporary housing facilities, obtaining AQMD permitting, performing asbestos abatement, interior demolition, Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) improvements, construction of interior building finishes (e.g., rough carpentry, doors, glazing, cement plastering, gypsum board, tiling, resilient base, interior painting, specialties, and furnishings) and restoration/removal of temporary housing. The contractor is responsible for all labor, materials, equipment, scheduling, and coordination with City and County Departments, as well as all necessary permitting and associated features, ensuring continuous operation of critical facilities during updates.
