Cajon Valley Union School District is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, PLAYGROUND REPLACEMENT PROJECT JAMACHA ELEMENTARY, identified under Solicitation ID: 1683. Work is to be performed near 225 Roanoke Rd, El Cajon, CA 92020, USA in San Diego County.
General Project Description
This project involves the replacement of playground equipment and related site work at Jamacha Elementary School. The contractor is responsible for installing owner-purchased playground equipment, coordinating delivery, offloading, inventory, acceptance, and storage. The scope includes the removal of existing cushioning materials, excavation to a minimum depth of 16 inches, and the installation of 4-inch deep ¾-inch drainage rock, drainfelt, and 12-inch deep cushioning chips (Engineered Wood Fiber). Additionally, existing playground equipment, asphalt, and concrete borders will be removed to accommodate new expansion, with new concrete borders installed in the expanded areas. A new ADA-compliant ramp is also required. All work, particularly at school sites, must only be performed on weekends and during school breaks.
