General Project Description

This project involves the conversion of the existing Chaffey Community College Library building into an interim instructional and administrative swing space on the Rancho Cucamonga Campus. The comprehensive scope includes selective demolition and/or reconfiguration of non-load bearing partitions, redistribution of HVAC ducts, and updates to electrical technology, fire/life safety infrastructure, and fixtures. Key installations include new roof-mounted HVAC equipment, earthwork, concrete foundations, structural steel, masonry, various metal fabrications, architectural wood casework, thermal and moisture protection (insulation, roofing, flashing, firestopping, joint sealants), doors and windows (hollow metal, flush wood, access doors, aluminum-framed storefront
