General Project Description

This public works construction project involves the replacement and installation of exterior fencing at Betsy Ross Elementary School. The scope includes replacing existing 6-foot high ornamental fences and doors with new 8-foot high ornamental fences and doors, and replacing existing 6-foot high ornamental fences, gates, and doors with new 8-foot high chain link fences, gates, and doors. The work also includes the installation of perforated metal screens with specific material and attachment details, installation of various chain link fence components (posts, brace members, and black PVC coated frames), and the installation of four wrought iron double door removable mullions with specific manufacturer and model requirements, including paint matching. The contract time for completion is 47 consecutive calendar days.
