General Project Description
The Anaheim Elementary School District (AESD) is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from firms to pre-qualify a limited number of full-service Geotechnical and Geo-hazard Engineering Consulting firms. These services are related to construction programs funded by Measure “J” ($318 million) and Measure “G” ($169.3 million) bonds, and other projects such as the School Energy Efficiency Stimulus (SEES) Program, renewable/solar energy generation, and HVAC energy conservation. The work includes modernization, reconstruction, alterations, and new construction across the District's 23 campuses. The scope of services involves geo-hazards and geotechnical/seismic investigations, environmental investigations, soils sampling and testing, preparation of various reports, DSA Testing and Inspection, supervision/certification of fill placement, and acting as a liaison with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all applicable Federal, State, and local requirements and industry guidelines.
