General Project Description

The Shore Power Feeder Replacement Project involves the repair and replacement of existing electrical distribution feeders, ductbanks, and manholes at Naval Base San Diego. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, demolition, excavation, backfilling, debris removal, furnishing labor and procuring materials for the installation of duct-banks, electrical vaults, manholes, grounding, underground electrical cables, fiber optic cables, underground conduit, and conductors. The project also requires providing connections to the existing system, performing related structural work, and other ancillary items to deliver a complete and operational system. The contractor is responsible for all labor necessary to complete testing, start-up, and initial preventative maintenance to comply with testing procedures.
