General Project Description

This project involves a partial interior remodel of the 1st Level and a complete interior remodel of the 2nd Level of the Stewart Commons Building within the Muir College Campus Area of UC San Diego. The scope also includes the exterior replacement of the roof, select exterior building elements, breezeway, and east patio improvements. All work must comply with the Secretary of Interior's standards for the treatment of historic properties, as the building is eligible for the National Historic Register. This subcontract bid package [09.21] specifically covers Gypsum Board Assemblies & Framing, Temporary Protection, Scaffolding & Platforms, Thermal & Sound Insulation, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Ceilings & Specialty Ceilings, Plaster, and various Specialties.
