General Project Description

The Alameda County Fire Department (ACFD) is seeking consulting firms to provide California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) services for the delivery of two new fire stations (Stations 24 and 26). The project involves comprehensive environmental consulting, including the preparation and review of various CEQA documentation such as Initial Studies, Categorical Exemptions, Negative Declarations (ND), Mitigated Negative Declarations (MND), Environmental Impact Reports (EIR), and Findings of No Significant Impact. The consultant will be responsible for incorporating public comments, analyzing environmental impacts, preparing and distributing all required CEQA documents and notices, filing the Notice of Determination, advising ACFD staff, coordinating and attending meetings (including Planning Commission and Board of Supervisor meetings), developing a CEQA schedule, and preparing a Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program (MMRP).
