General Project Description

The County of Alameda is seeking a qualified Job Order Contracting (JOC) Support Services Contractor to provide administrative and comprehensive support for its JOC program. The selected contractor will be responsible for ongoing JOC development, implementation, procurement support, construction estimating services, construction management, project budgeting and planning services, training, and technical support across the County's 140+ facilities, including buildings, streets, bridges, and flood control infrastructure. This involves preparing JOC documents such as unit price books, technical specifications, contractual terms, bid forms, and providing an internet-based JOC information management system to streamline project delivery and manage maintenance and improvement projects.
