General Project Description

The County of Alameda, on behalf of the Alameda County Sheriff's Office (ACSO), is requesting bids for biological hazard detention cell cleaning services for the Santa Rita Jail (SRJ). The project involves providing biological hazard mitigation and remediation services, including cleaning, disinfection, deodorization, waste removal, and drying of surfaces for various areas within the detention facility, such as cells, housing units, common areas, administrative spaces, medical/intake areas, and transportation vehicles. Additionally, the scope includes cleaning and sanitization of security restraints, dry cleaning of ACSO staff uniforms, and the provision of all necessary cleaning chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), tools, and equipment for biohazard material removal. The contractor must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and respond within two hours of a service request.
