General Project Description

This project involves comprehensive exterior modifications and painting for the Milpitas Sports Center Building and its Water Reservoir, located behind the building. The work scope includes extensive surface preparation such as crack sealing, power washing, sanding of metal and wood surfaces, and patching of stucco. Exterior painting will cover various building systems (conduit, gutters, doors, railings), facade panels, and roof screens, utilizing waterproof, elastomeric paint. Additionally, the project requires the installation of composite planks on specified façade areas and new "Milpitas Sports Center" signage. The Water Reservoir painting will adhere to a specific coating system for concrete, including primer, base coat (flexible or elastomeric acrylic), and a UV-stable finish coat, with optional anti-carbonation or fluoropolymer/elastomeric polyurethane topcoats. All work is exterior-only.
