General Project Description
This project involves the installation of a new traffic signal system at the intersection of Auto Center Drive and Metrolink Station in Corona, California. The scope of work includes general civil and site preparation tasks such as mobilization, traffic control, implementation of Best Management Practices (BMPs), informational and portable changeable message signs, and construction surveying. Specific construction items involve the removal of existing signs, posts, and street light poles, the construction of PCC medians with 8-inch curbs, and the protection and adjustment of existing pull boxes. Electrical and communication infrastructure work includes the furnishing and installation of a complete traffic signal system, signs on mast arms and signal poles, and 1-12 strand single-mode fiber optic drop cable.
