General Project Description

This project involves the demolition of multiple properties at North Mall, Phase II, including hazardous materials abatement (asbestos and lead) prior to demolition. The scope also includes site preparation, utility disconnections and capping, installation of site signage and fencing, erosion control, and final site grading and leveling. Contractors are required to backfill excavated areas with suitable material and grade for positive surface drainage, preventing sediment runoff, and restoring the site to six inches below existing grade. Compliance with California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulations for off-road diesel vehicles is mandatory.
