Unofficial Notice of Invitation to Bid (NIB)

Pittsburg City is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, LINSCHEID DRIVE TRAFFIC CALMING PROJECT, identified under Solicitation ID: PROJECT NO. 4079. Work is to be performed near 65 Civic Ave, Pittsburg, CA 94565, USA in Contra Costa County.

General Project Description

This project involves the construction of traffic calming measures on Linscheid Drive in Pittsburg, California. The scope of work includes installing a roundabout, striping, signage, and all other necessary work to complete the project in accordance with the provided Plans, Specifications, and as directed by the Engineer. Key tasks include site preparation, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) implementation, traffic control, sawcutting and removal of existing pavement, installing various types of median curbing (8" median curb, 3" roundabout mountable curb), asphalt concrete deeplift, median infill with river rock, roundabout stamped concrete surfacing, installation of landscape boulders, removal and installation of stop signs, and removal and application of thermoplastic striping and pavement markings. Construction surveying is also required, including control line, pothole, survey monument referencing, construction staking, and as-built GPS surveys.
