Contra Costa County is seeking bids from qualified and interested contractors for the following project titled, Contra Costa County Hope House Foundation Repairs Project, identified under Solicitation ID: WW1084. Work is to be performed near 300 Ilene St, Martinez, CA 94553, USA in Contra Costa County.
General Project Description
This Design-Build (DBE) project aims to address ongoing and recurring facility damage at the Hope House in Contra Costa County, California, caused by foundation movement due to underlying geotechnical conditions and defective existing foundation systems. The selected Design-Build Entity will develop and implement a remediation strategy, including repairing and/or replacing the existing foundation, creating a smooth and level concrete building slab, and establishing a stable foundation to limit building movement to acceptable levels. The scope also includes repairing damages resulting from existing movement, as well as structural improvements for vertical and lateral movement of exterior hardscape and site improvements. All work must conform to applicable codes and regulations and the current version of the Contra Costa County "Building Design and Construction Guidelines."
