General Project Description

The project generally involves developing land on Race Street for future park construction. The scope includes demolition of an existing 1,100 SF vacant building, its foundation, and trash enclosure. It also involves hazardous materials abatement, disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste, capping existing water and sewer services, and surface grading. Selective demolition of hardscape elements such as pavement, sidewalks, and curbs is also required. Earthwork and grading will restore the site to a safe, stable, and workable condition, including backfilling excavated areas and compacting soil.
